Haebangchon in bloom

Fortunately, I was out of Korea during what I heard was a brutally hot and humid summer. In the spring, though, my neighborhood was in bloom. With housing so close together and built into the hillsides, there aren't yards or gardens as there would be in the States. Instead, people seem to fill all possible empty spaces with plants and flowers in the spring. These are just a couple of shots near my home.
