Ok, one thing I do find funny and have a negative opinion about here is how often people check their reflections in the mirror. I wrote about the reflective elevators before. Here are a couple of new examples, which seem even funnier.
Mirrors on the inside of bathroom stalls, not just in the stalls that have Western style toilets, but even in the "squat" toilet stalls. Personally, I find it hard enough (and smelly enough) to squat over a hole in the floor. I can't imagine wanting to hold that position long enough to check my reflection and fix my make-up or comb my hair.
Another new one for me was the mirror at the bottom of the gondola lift at the ski resort.
Also while skiing--a young guy in the gondola using his sunglasses as mirror surfaces to arrange his bangs after putting on his ski hat.
And full-length mirrors in the subway stations.
And at the water stops on hiking trails.
