Seeing Red!

My first faux pas (or, at least, the first one I'm aware of.)

I was using a red dry-erase marker to write a student's name on the board during this afternoon's lesson when another student told me "Lisa, you shouldn't write someone's name in red". I thought she was joking with me, but I asked why. Apparently it's a Korean superstition that writing someone's name in red means they're going to die soon. Yikes! We all laughed, of course.

Jew Say Yo keep writing! I am thrilled to read it...cause like dude, yer on the other side of the world and all.

Life in Boston is the same, like living in a parish.

Love you!
