Until last weekend, I hadn't gone on any outing with the hiking club since last September, though this wasn't by choice. I had to teach EVERY Saturday last October through December, then didn't really want to hike in the freezing January temperatures, after which I was in Japan one weekend and skiing two of the weekends in February. So, I finally ventured out with the Seoul International Hiking Club again last Saturday.
As part of our outing we visited a Buddhist temple (I've already forgotten the name). It was part of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, which is the largest order. A monk there talked with us (with an interpreter) and served us delicious Oolong tea. He said he likes this kind of tea because it's from China and he believes he was Chinese in a previous life.
Outside the temple, there were a couple of cats and a very cute puppy so, of course, I had to play with them and take their pictures.
