Hip Korea

There's a Discovery Channel program called Hip Korea, which I watched while on the treadmill at the gym last week. I guess Korean pop culture has become popular in lots of other countries, especially soap operas and singers.

Maybe the biggest star is this young pop singer named "Rain."

What seemed funny to me about him is that his dance moves look just like Michael Jackson in the 1980s. He became known in the States a couple of years ago when he appeared on the Stephen Colbert show and they had a "dance off." Nowadays he's cultivated more of a bad boy image, which also strikes me as funny as he still looks about 15 years old to me.
