Buddha's Birthday (aka Vesak)

I went on a Buddah's Birthday tour on May 12th with a group called the Royal Asiatic Society (http://raskb.com/).

We visited 4 temples: Pomun-sa, Mit'a-sa, Kae'un-sa, and Pongwon-sa.

These pictures are from Pomun-sa, the largest Buddhist convent in Seoul, with about 120 nuns. They had a chanting ceremony and some of the nuns did a special dance cymbals, which was beautiful to watch. I wish I had it on video instead of just still photos.
